序言

 

「數位典藏與數位學習國家型科技計畫」透過數位典藏技術與學習機制的建立與應用,以「典藏多樣臺灣,深化數位學習」為主要目標,追求呈現臺灣於人文領域、社會領域、自然環境領域中的多樣性脈絡,與在地文化的主體性。在數位典藏與數位學習工作的推動下,並追求建立一個內含豐富文化資源的「數位公共領域(digital public domain)」,使典藏成果開放釋出供社會大眾近用,全面地將典藏與學習、內容與技術融入到產業、教育、研究與社會發展的各個領域,以具體擴散資訊傳播與交流所能達成之社會效益。

2010年1月16-17日「建立數位公共領域-理論構建與在地實踐」國際學術研討會,即以「數位公共領域」為核心議題,由「數位典藏與學習之學術與社會應用推廣計畫」與「拓展台灣數位典藏計畫」合作邀集了國際與國內法律學、新聞學、傳播學、社會學等不同領域研究者,彙集跨領域多元觀點,釋出知識公共化之理論研究與在地實證化經驗累積之重要成果。透過跨領域研究者的彼此對話,希望能激盪出台灣文化脈絡中,對於公共文明與抽象知識的在地性詮釋。
